With the ability to support up to 128GB DDR4 memory, the latest batch of H-series chips also support Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (Gig+) adapter as well as the equally new Intel Optane memory H10 and high-capacity Intel SSD 660p. Intel has also stated that the new processors are optimized for discrete graphics chips although the company didn’t provide further details regarding it. Here is how the lineup looks like:
In terms of performance, Intel stated that the new 9th Gen Intel Core H Series chips are able to deliver up to 18% higher framerate in gaming as compared to their predecessors. They can also deliver up to 28% faster 4K video editing than their 8th Gen counterparts. The performance differences are much more obvious when they are compared against their 6th Gen equivalents, which are deemed as the true targets for these 9th Gen chips since the probability of owners with such laptops to upgrade is much higher. According to Intel, the 9th Gen processors has around 33% better overall performance with up to 56% faster framerate, 38% faster game turn time, and 54% faster 4K video editing.
