Recently shared by user WHYLAB on Chinese social media platform Weibo are a set of photos of an alleged OPPO Find X6 test unit that’s spotted in the wild. Not only do these provide more views of the smartphone in more angles, one particular image shows it sporting a large protruding camera island on its back – seemingly confirming Blass’ leak from before. In front, the OPPO Find X6 is shown to sport a curved display with a single punch-hole cutout centred on top, while seen on its right-hand side is a lock button. One photo shows a grille on the phone’s upper frame – likely part of a stereo speaker setup, with the second grille believed to be situated at the bottom. Besides that, two images from the set depicts the device running on the latest version of the brand’s ColorOS platform, which may be based on Android 13. Unfortunately, WHYLAB did not provide any information about the allegedly upcoming OPPO flagship’s specifications. So far, the only confirmed detail that’s been confirmed by OPPO itself is that the Find X6 will be its first product to feature Qualcomm’s latest high-end chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. On the unofficial side of things, it is suggested that the device will feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate, OPPO’s Marisilcon X NPU, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging support. Imaging-wise, leakster Ice Universe claims that the phone might come with a camera setup championed by Sony’s 1-inch IMX989 50 MP sensor, a regular 50 MP ultra-wide, and a 32 MP periscope. It is not known when OPPO is planning to officially unveil the Find X6 at this time. However, based on its predecessor’s launch in China last year, there’s a chance that the next generation flagship smartphone might debut next month, sometime by mid or late February.
