Like its more powerful siblings in the lineup, the Navi 23XT GPU of the 6600XT is cut from the same RDNA2 cloth, albeit with watered-down specifications. Specs-wise, the 6600XT features 8GB of GDDR6 graphics memory, 32 Compute Units (CUs), a 32MB Infinity Cache, and a game clock of 2359MHz. By default, the card has a TDP of 160W and will require a single 8-pin PCIe connector to run. As it is an RDNA2-powered card, the 6600XT also gains access to AMD’s full suite of Radeon graphics enhancement features, including Radeon Anti-Lag, Radeon Boost, Smart Access Memory (SAM), ray-tracing support, and above all else, its new FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) graphics upscaling technology.
As for when the card will be available, the Radeon RX 6600XT will be available from 11 August onwards, with a starting retail price of US$379 (~RM1606). Of course, it goes without saying that given the ongoing chip shortage, it’s very likely that prices will be considerably higher. Further, AMD says that the card will not have a reference cooler design and will depend on its AiB partners to provide their own custom-cooling solutions.
