The revelation came as part of a very small excerpt in a Vanity Fair YouTube video breaking down scenes from the movie Knives Out. Johnson said that, while Apple allows iPhones to be on film, they must never be seen in the hands of a villain. The video in question is embedded below, and you can hear it for yourself at around the three-minute mark. It’s interesting that Apple would go to such extents to control the image that the iPhones would be associated with. It’s one thing to be strict with branding, but this does feel a tad excessive. But if Apple won’t allow villains to use iPhones on screen, what would make for a good villain phone? In our opinion, probably the Pablo Escobar Fold 2. Not only is it named after a villainous character, it also has the gold trimming to match.
