Aside from the lower price tag, Apple is also bringing over the LTE variant of the Apple Watch Series 3, two years after the stand-alone GPS variant was made available in Malaysia. Naturally, the LTE model costs more than its stand-alone GPS counterpart:

For example, the cheapest Series 5 LTE model in Malaysia which is the 40mm Aluminium case with Sport Band, is being listed at RM 2,199. In terms of release date, the Apple Watch Series 3 LTE will be made available starting from 1 November which is the same date as per Apple Watch Series 5.
