The purchase of Pac tokens will reportedly allow fans to buy merchandise and interact with Pacquiao on social media. Some of the merchandise may include Pacquiao’s music albums, as Reuters reports that he also does covers of love songs.
Reuters also reports that Pac is the first of its kind, being the first cryptocurrency by a celebrity. English football legend Michael Owen is also listed as a private investor of Pac. Owen himself is also indicated as planning to launch his own cryptocurrency with the GCOX. It looks like celebrities are also jumping on the cryptocurrency bandwagon.
