Prior to this, several photography and camera sites such as PetaPixel already shared the promotional videos for both cameras, but these leaked brochures serve as confirmation for what is clearly the imminent arrival of the two cameras. The videos have since been taken offline by Canon, but not before sites like Canon Rumors managed to repost them on its own YouTube channel. Specs-wise, The EOS M6 Mark II featured a 32.5MP APS-C CMOS sensor beneath the hood. There’s also a DIGIC 8 image processor which enables 4K video recording at 30fps and 1080p at 120fps. One improvement Canon is touting with the M6 Mark II is burst mode shooting; the feature will reportedly be twice as fast as the predecessor, enabling it to shoot up to 14 frames per second (fps).

Additionally, the EOS M6 Mark II also features a RAW burst mode at 30 fps in crop mode. From the looks of both the video and brochure, it also seems that the camera will feature something that its predecessor didn’t have: a proprietary viewfinder. Moving on to the EOS 90D, we can tell that the 90D featured the same 32.5MP APS-C CMOS Sensor with 45 cross-type AF points, as well as the same DIGIC 8 image processor to record in 4K 30 fps as well. The DSLR is also able to shoot in burst mode at 10 fps; that’s 3 fps faster than its direct predecessor, the EOS 80D. Considering its burst mode capability, it’s not a stretch to say that this mid-range DSLR is able to keep up with another legendary speed monster, the EOS 7D Mark II.

In regards to the remaining specs, both cameras are able to transfer images using WiFi and Bluetooth technology. There’s still no official pricing being mentioned in either the brochure or video. However, it’s speculated that Canon plans on officially announcing its new cameras on 28 August, which is less than a week away. Guess we’ll know more about the cameras then.
