As a reference, here is the list of MySejahtera’s COVID-19 risk status based on the information provided by the Special Committee On COVID-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) for vaccination centres (PPV) back in May 2021:

Under the new policy, both drivers and passengers can now request to show their MySejahtera risk status, either on the check-in screen or the app’s profile section, to each other before they proceed with the journey. Anything beyond these sections and information other than risk status are off-limits, says Grab. Interestingly, drivers and passengers can still utilise Grab’s e-hailing service regardless of their vaccination status as the new policy only focuses on the risk of exposure. In other words, unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals can still take an e-hailing ride or perform Grab jobs.

Grab also said that the new policy is its own decision and not a directive from the National Security Council (MKN). That being said, this policy is not unique to Grab as it has also been implemented by shopping malls and PPV, according to the company. (Source: Grab Malaysia via Nextrift.)
