As implied by its name, the new X model features a 16-inch “FullView” display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 100% sRGB wide colour gamut, and 300 nits of brightness. Surrounding it are thin 4.5mm bezels which entails for a decently large screen-to-body ratio of 89%. Also featured on the laptop is a full-sized keyboard, a recessed HD 720p webcam, dual speakers, two built-in microphones, and a power button with fingerprint scanning functionality. Connectivity-wise, the HONOR MagicBook X 16 comes with two USB-C ports, two USB 3.2, a HDMI out, as well as a two-in-one headphone and microphone 3.5 mm jack. Additionally, it also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC, via the brand’s Magic-Link feature. As for colour selection, as with most of HONOR’s portable computer offerings, the laptop is only available in silver. Under the device’s hood is a 12th generation Intel Core i5-1235U processor that offers a clock speed of 1.3 GHz and a max output of 4.4 GHz. Accompanying it is an Intel Iris Xe Graphics GPU, as well as 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512 GB of internal storage via SSD. The new HONOR MagicBook X 16 will retail for RM 3,499, and is slated to arrive in Malaysia on 18 November 2022 via the brand’s physical stores, hihonor.com, as well as its official stores on Lazada and Shopee. Additionally, each purchase of the laptop will also come with a gift pack while stocks last.
