It was widely assumed that the removal was due to the ban on Huawei by the United States government which affected the Chinese company’s relationship with Google and Android ecosystem. However, we believed that the Mate 20 Pro was inserted back into the list in relation to the temporary 90-days license that was provided to Huawei.
Additionally, the Android Q Beta for Huawei Mate 20 Pro is not exactly open for public anyway as only those with Google Play Developer’s account can participate in it as opposed to Google and Essential devices. Regardless of that, the relisting adds up to a relatively good week for the folks at Huawei.
