Powered by Huawei’s highest-end consumer processor to date, Kirin 990, the MatePad Pro also carries a 10.8-inch QHD display which has 4.9mm bezel and 90% screen-to-body ratio. Depending on markets, the tablet can be obtained with up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. For taking notes and drawing on the tablet, Huawei has designed an active stylus called M-pencil which features 4096 levels of sensitivity. The stylus can easily be charged to full capacity in one hour, just by attaching it to the top of the MatePad Pro which is built with a magnetic wireless charger for the M-pencil. The MatePad pro is also equipped with a 13MP rear camera and 8MP in-display selfie camera alongside 7250mAh battery that supports 20W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging. Users can even use the tablet to charge other devices through its 7.5W reverse wireless charging capability.
At this moment, it is not known if Huawei will release the Malaysian version into our market as only the Wi-Fi model (MRX-W09) has appeared on SIRIM so far. Well, we’ll keep you posted once we heard more from the company but for the meantime, please wash your hands often, stay safe, and stay home!
