The highlight of this new keyboard is that it features the company’s own key switches, known simply as the HyperX Red switches. The company claims that these have a life span of 80 million clicks. You’d think that there will also be a variant of the keyboard with other switch colours, but the company has not said anything about that. As with a number of new keyboards, it comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable.

In addition to new hardware, the HyperX Allow Origins features new software as well, in the form of the HyperX NGENUITY. As you’d expect, this is what you’d use to program macros and your RGB lighting. It also comes with what the company calls Custom Game Mode, which allows you to lock more than just the Windows key when you’re gaming. The HyperX Alloy Origins is priced at RM499. You can get it from authorised retail and e-tail outlets. (Source: HyperX)
