Apart from the 100MHz reduction in its overall base, boost, and Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB), the Core i9-10850K is essentially a carbon copy of the Core i9-10900K. Stats-wise, it maintains the same 10-cores, 20-threads layout, has the same TDP of 125W, and – there’s sadly no running away from this – is still based on Intel’s 14nm die lithography. Due to its stature as a Core i9 CPU and to point state the obvious, yet again, the 10850K is unlocked and therefore fully overclockable.
As for its asking price, the new CPU will retail for US$453 (~RM1923), which is US$35 (~RM148). It’s also looking very likely that the 10850K will be hitting the store shelves of authorised resellers and retailers around the world, although at this point, Intel still hasn’t told us when its new CPU will be available to the masses.
