However, the Yoga S940 display panel is actually contoured towards its edges in the same way as you might have seen on some smartphone out there. Complete with support for HDR400 standard on 4K resolution or Dolby Vision if customers opt for the Full HD panel, the implementation apparently helps make the laptop’s bezels look thinner. On another hand, the Yoga C730 is equipped with a 15.6-inch 4K AMOLED display which apparently has stunning color output and great viewing angle. In terms of internal specs, the Yoga S930 seems to have quite a few more configuration options. That said, both will come with an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU. The Yoga S940 able to support up to 16GB of RAM but it’s the only option for the Yoga C730. On the storage front, the Yoga S930 can have up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage while the C730 stuck with 512GB PCIe SSD. Lenovo has also decided to give the Yoga S930 a few features that it calls Smart Assist AI. An example of this is the laptop locking itself when it detects that you are no longer looking at the screen. It will also notify you when it detects something peeking over your shoulder and at your screen. On the flip side, the Yoga C730 happens to be a transformable laptop, which can change between being a notebook, entertainment device, or a tablet when fully folded over. The Lenovo Yoga S930’s prices start from US$1499.99 (~RM6145) and is expected to be available starting May 2019. Lenovo has decided not to share the price of the C730, but did say that it is expected to be available a month earlier, in April 2019. That said, this may not apply to the local market, so it’s best to wait for the official word from Lenovo Malaysia.
