The company says that the earbuds design approach is aimed to give professionals a more presentable appearance during conferencing, as opposed to the more “call center” like look when donning over-ear headsets. But despite being offered as an alternative, it appears that Logitech isn’t pulling any punches from adding some premium-tier features to the new Zone True Wireless either.
Its fancy design aside, the earbuds come with active noise cancelling (ANC) capabilities, along with noise cancelling microphones to ensure for clear sounding calls. Connectivity is where things get interesting for the Zone True Wireless. Aside from featuring multipoint Bluetooth capability that enables you to switch between multiple devices, it also comes with the option to connect to certain platforms via a USB-A or USB-C receiver. Logitech did not detail if there are any differences in terms of latency between these different modes of connection.
As for battery life, the company claims that the Zone True Wireless Earbuds are able to last up to seven hours with ANC activated, and up to 12 hours with it off. Meanwhile, the included charging case can provide the buds an additional 17 or so hours, and comes with fast charging as well as Qi Wireless charging support. Other than that, the earbuds are also water and dust resistant with a rating of IP68. And the same applies to its case as well, although it carries a lower IP54 rating instead. The new Logitech Zone True Wireless Earbuds will arrive globally in Fall 2021 at a retail price of US$ 299 (~RM 1,260), and are available in two colour options: graphite and rose. Logitech has not confirmed whether the buds would see a release in Malaysia at this time. (Source: CNET)
