The leaked renders come by way of popular leakster, Evan Blass (@evleaks), who posted them on his official Twitter account. The image shows off a phone with an alluring curved display. On that note, said display is rumoured to be a 6.7-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Also, if the images are anything to go by we could expect the Edge+ to be sport two different main camera options; one supposedly houses a 108MP sensor and the other a 64MP sensor. With respect to the former variant, it is also rumoured to be accompanied by a 16MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto lens. Around the front, the punch hole reportedly houses a 25MP sensor.
Other alleged specifications include a Snapdragon 865 SoC, at least 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and internal storage capacity of 256GB, and a 5000mAh battery among other things. For connectivity, the Edge+ is expected to support 5G on the mmWave in the US. But that could be bumped down to the sub-6GHz spectrum, should the phone make its way to Asia. In any case, we’ll just have to wait until Motorola’s launch event tomorrow to get the official low down. (Source: Evan Blass via Twitter, The Verge, Engadget, Droid Life // Image: Evan Blass)
