On one hand, many Need for Speed games have launched in the month of November. So it’s not exactly surprising for a remaster to also be released within this window. But on the other, it’s odd that publisher EA will keep quiet about such a thing. If the company was planning a surprise announcement sometime down the line, this leak has just spoiled the surprise. At any rate, we’ll have to wait a little longer for EA to confirm that a remaster for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is indeed on the way. The release window also coincides with the release window of next generation consoles, so we’ll see if there will be versions for them as well as current-gen machines. (Source: Pure Xbox.
