New Leak Confirms Samsung Isocell 600Mp Sensor Definitely In The Works

The leak was tweeted by well-known leakster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) and appears to be part of a presentation slide, shown during Samsung’s Investors Forum 2020 event. The slide itself is vague and lacking any detailed information, but it does point to Samsung’s promise of a 600MP ISOCELL sensor at the size of 0.8μm.

— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) December 5, 2020 Back then, Samsung said the 600MP ISOCELL was because it was trying to create a sensor with resolution similar to the human eye, which is perceived to be around 500MP. Also, at the highest resolution that is available on the current market is 108MP; while the sensor can already be found in select smartphone models, it is important to note that it is still not as widely adopted as the lesser 48MP and 64MP sensors.
