As previously reported, the Reno3 Pro features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a pill-shaped cutout that features a dual camera setup consisting of a 44MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh effects.
Under the hood, the Pro variant sports a MediaTek Helio P95 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It is powered by a 4,025mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support, and runs on OPPO’s Color OS 7 based on Android 10 out of the box. Camera-wise, the phone features a quad camera setup consisting of a 64MP main, 13MP telephoto with 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom capabilities, 8MP ultra-wide angle, and a 2MP mono camera. Complementing its camera setup are improved software features including Ultra Dark Mode for low-light photography and Ultra Steady Video 2.0 for action camera-like stabilisation.
The standard Reno3 model differs slightly in terms of specifications, as well as appearance. Unlike the Pro version, its 6.4-inch AMOLED display features a waterdrop notch which houses a 44MP selfie camera. Other hardware differences include its chipset which is a MediaTek Helio P90, and its camera setup consisting of a 48MP main, 13MP with telephoto 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP mono shooter. Additionally, the device’s battery is the same as the Pro variant, but supports 20W VOOC 4.0 fast charging instead.
Both Reno3 phones are available in Midnight Black and Auroral Blue, with the Reno3 Pro priced at RM2,399 and the standard variant priced at RM1,699. The devices are available for order in Malaysia starting today via the OPPO online store, their official stores on Lazada and Shopee, as well as authorised dealers such as Senheng and DirectD.
