Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max, the Pro model comes with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen. Memory-wise, the phone can be obtained with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM although it features 256GB UFS3.1-based internal storage regardless of the RAM configurations. [Image: OPPO / Weibo.]OPPO has sourced a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor for the Reno7 Pro’s main camera which is also accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro camera. The rear camera module of the Reno7 Pro is surrounded by an LED strip that doubles as the phone’s notification light which is a physical feature that is not available on other Reno7 Series family members. Meanwhile, the company has also opted for another Sony IMX sensor for the phone’s selfie camera although the resolution is slightly smaller at 32MP. With a starting price of CNY3699(~RM) Completing Reno7 Pro’s specs sheet is a 4500mAh battery that is able to support 65W fast chargers. The standard OPPO Reno7. [Image: OPPO.]On another hand, there is also the standard Reno7 which has a smaller 6.43-inch display although it is still a Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED panel. Surprisingly, OPPO chooses to equip this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor instead of a MediaTek Dimensity chip as per the Pro model. While the 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera together with 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro cameras are still there on the standard model, the phone features a 64MP main camera instead. Available with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, the standard variant of Reno7 also still features a 4500mAh battery but its fast charger support maxes out at 60W. OPPO Reno7 SE. [Image: OPPO.]As for the Reno7 SE, the phone comes with curved edges as opposed to the flat body design on the higher-end Pro and standard models. However, it similarly has the same 6.43-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED display just like the standard model. The SE’s rear camera module also looked similar to the standard model in terms of design although it does carry a different setup altogether which includes a 48MP Sony IMX581 main camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone relies on the 16MP Sony IMX471 front-facing camera. Available with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage, the SE is running on MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor while it also comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports fast chargers with a power rating of up to 33W. In China, the Reno7 Pro’s price tag starts at CNY3,699 (~RM2,453) while the standard and SE models can be obtained from CNY2,699 (~RM1,790) and CNY2,199(~RM1,459), respectively. At the moment, OPPO has yet to reveal the availability of the Reno7 Series for Malaysia but we will keep you posted once we hear more from the company’s local representative.
