The OPPO Watch sports a 3D curved AMOLED screen, measuring at 1.6-inch for the 41mm variant and 1.91-inch for the 46mm. It is encased in an aluminium alloy frame with two buttons on its right side, and features fluororubber straps. In terms of water resistance, the 41mm is rated at 3ATM while the 46mm at 5ATM.

Powering the Watch is a Snapdragon Wear 3100 and Ambiq Micro Apollo3 chipset, paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Connectivity-wise, both OPPO Watch models include support for WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. As with the global version that was launched a few months back, the series runs on Google’s Wear OS 2.18 system out of the box.

OPPO claims that the battery on the 41mm is able to last up to 24 hours on Smart mode and up to 14 days on Power Saver. The 46mm, on the other hand, is said to be able to last up to 36 hours and up to 21 days respectively. Both Watch models support the company’s Watch VOOC Flash Charging via magnetic clip, and a full charge is said to take around 75 minutes.

In terms of onboard features, the series comes with a variety of sensors such as tri-axial, gyroscope, barometric, optical heartbeat and so on. Of course, these sensors also enable functions such as heart rate and sleep monitoring, as well as several workout modes.

The new OPPO Watch series will be sold in stores nationwide starting 3 October 2020, while pre-orders for the devices are available from 25 September until 2 October. As for pricing, the 41mm variant of the smartwatch retails at RM899, while its 46mm model is at RM1,299. (Source: OPPO Malaysia [1] [2])
