Razer says that the gaming earbuds will feature a lag-free latency experience using a customized Bluetooth 5.0 connection. Eliminating any stutter and desynching that is typically present in other Bluetooth audio devices. The Hammerhead True Wireless’ design also features some changes from the original Hammerhead with the removal of rubber ear tips. Further, the earbuds also feature touch controls for music and call controls on the side of the earbuds, but have not illuminated lights like the Razer Hammerhead BT.
Razer also included an ultra-low latency Gaming mode that drops the Bluetooth latency is dropped to 60ms. Spec-wise, the earbuds sports 13mm driver with a frequency response between 20Hz and 20kHz. For its battery life, the Hammerhead True Wireless lasts for three hours on a single charge. With it’s charging case, the earbuds can last up to four charges, making it a total of 16 hours of listening. Also, charging the case is conducted via USB-C.
Additionally, the Hammerhead True Wireless have an IPX4 rating, meaning that it can withstand some splashing and sweat during exercise sessions. The earbuds itself will be turned on and paired with your phone automatically when taken out of the case. The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless does support both iOS and Android systems.
