The inside of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live comes with components that are labelled “bean left” and “bean right”. These are found on the cables that connect the two halves of each side of the buds. iFixit also notes that the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live are fairly easy to repair if you need to. They are not difficult to pry open, and use standard-sized batteries, making them easier to replace if you manage to find replacements. The batteries themselves are a 3.7v CP1254, which happen to be the same ones found in the original Galaxy Buds. These give the Buds Live six hours of playback time. The charging case for the beans also come with a large battery, rated at 1.81Wh. These are larger than the ones found in its predecessors to support the additional 15 hours of battery life it gives the buds. Overall, iFixit gives the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus an eight out of ten for repairability. Which is great, but I still can’t get over the fact that the Korean tech giant refers to their latest TWS buds as beans, but chose not to use it in its official name. (Source: iFixit)
