As previously reported, the development of this new camera was confirmed by Sony VP Kenji Tanaka in an interview with DPReview earlier this month. He mentioned that the A7S III will offer larger pixels, improved autofocus features, and include 4K recording at 60fps.

However, Sony Alpha Rumors reported that leaks of the device suggests that it will feature a redesigned 12MP sensor with fast readout capability, a base ISO of 160 for S-LOG3, 15 stops of dynamic range, a vari-angle LCD screen, and support for UHS-II SD cards. The site added that the A7S III may also have the ability to record videos with no time limits. We’ll eventually find out more about the new Sony A7S when it launches on Tuesday next week.
