This new feature will allow up to four streamers to stream together in a single window. This will be especially useful if your favourite streamers are friends and they tend to stream together often. Rather than having to move back and forth or open multiple tabs or windows to watch them all, you can have all of them in a single page.

Whenever you decide you want to see the game from a different player’s perspective, all you need to do is to click on their stream instead, and it will take over as the main stream on the page. Chat is tied to the main stream as well, so engaging with a different chatroom is as simple as changing the main’s stream. Twitch says that the feature will roll out in 2019, but it also says that select streamers will be testing the feature out later this year. If your favourite streamer is lucky, you might see Squad Stream in action a lot earlier than others.
