The lineup’s design is officially known as THICC II and if pay close enough attention, you’ll notice that the design is identical to the brand’s original cooler shroud design that made its debut with AMD’s Hawaii GPU architecture. Including the same black and white theme. The cooling solution utilises two 10cm fans, just like the original desing. However, it’s also clear that XFX has made some minor changes to the THICC II. For starters, the card is visibly longer and wider than the PCB. It’s also got a backplate attached and the heatsink is also considerably thicker but quite stylish, to boot.
The XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC II is expected to make its grand launch sometime this month, but so far, there’s still no details about its specification. Like all custom-cooled graphics card, though, it’s a certainty that XFX will be shipping out the card with boost clocks running higher than 1755MHz.
