First in the list is the titular device itself, the Mi CC9. Equipped with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Samsung AMOLED display, the new phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 alongside up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Xiaomi has also launched another variant for this particular phone which is called the Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition. Pre-installed with a camera app that has been tweaked by Meitu’s team, this particular model also comes standard with more RAM and storage space at 8GB and 256GB respectively as well as a special white pearl colourway and Meitu branding on its back. The third model in the series is the Mi CC9e which carries a 6.088-inch HD+ Samsung AMOLED display and Snapdragon 665 processor. Just like its higher-end CC9, this phone also offers up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Interesting enough, all three models are equipped with the same rear camera setup which includes a 48MP f/1.79 main camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera, and 2MP depth camera. On their front, there is also the 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera which is housed within the display notch of each phone. These phones also carry a 4030mAh battery to complete their general specifications. Price-wise, the Mi CC9 with 6GB/64GB config goes for CNY 1,799 (~RM 1,083) while the 6GB/128GB and Meitu Custom Edition are listed at CNY 1,999 (~RM 1,204) and CNY 2,599 (~RM 1,565) respectively. The Mi CC9e with 4GB/64GB setup on another hand is priced at CNY 1,299 (~RM 782) with the 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants can be obtained for CNY 1,399 (~RM 843) and CNY 1,599 (~RM 963) each. At this moment, it is not known whether the new Mi CC9 series will be making its way to Malaysia or otherwise. We’ll keep you posted once we receive more info about it from Xiaomi, so stay tuned.
